Because of the benefits of HIIT involves a smaller amount of time needed than other cardio, it has become one of the latest trends.
Wearable Tech
The advancements of technology is quickly reshaping the fitness world and way we work out. Wearable tech such as activity trackers, smart watches, and heart rate monitors have gained more and more popularity over the years. These devices give you feedback throughout and after your workout to help you improve and have better gains.  They track your movements, monitor your peak heart rate during a workout, and even analyze how you sleep. The wearable tech is now going beyond being worn the wrist–there are now rings, glasses and smart clothes that are planning to be released.

More and more fitness enthusiasts are stepping up to the ring. There are new studios popping up everywhere to introduce the benefits of boxing. Studios like Rumble, Everybody Fights and Box Union have fitness plans and programs that involve squaring up with a bag or kickboxing with a trainer. Boxing offers intense strength-training, conditioning components and stress relief. Because of its effectiveness and the overall benefits, boxing has become one of the most popular workouts of 2018. Celebs, models and professional athletes alike have raved about these workouts and how it has shaped their fitness journey.

With so many new and popular workouts coming about this year, there are also new post-workout recoveries. One of the most popular ways to recover after a workout now is cryotherapy. This involves healing the post-workout pains and soreness through sub-freezing temps to help speed up muscle recovery and reduce inflammation by constricting blood vessels. This type of therapy is mostly for athletes who go through rigorous training. It can help them reduce stress and avoid the risk for injury while training.
